Over the weekend Anaheim Angels team’s spokesman Tim Mead confirmed to the Associated Press that the team has withdrawn their offer for 28-year-old free-agent slugger Mark Teixeira. A decision that will force the St. Louis Cardinals to re-examine their priorities.
