Minor League Pitcher of the Day - Scott Gorgen
It’s one of the strange things about baseball, Gorgen didn’t factor into the decision in game one of the NYP League championship series, despite pitching six complete shutout innings. Gorgen takes home the Birdhouse ‘Pitcher of the Day‘ honors as a consolation.
Minor League Player of the Day - Jermaine Curtis
His two run homer in the top of the ninth gave the Muckdogs the win in game on of the NYP League championship series.
