Rising Star - Brett Wallace

It has not taken long for the 13th overall pick in the 2008 draft to become acclimated to the Midwest League. 3B Brett Wallace went 0-for-2 with two walks in his pro debut on July 2, but the Arizona State product has hit safely in seven consecutive games since.

Wallace is batting .360 (9-25) with three doubles, two homers, seven runs, and six RBI in the process.
