Cardinals Agree to Terms with 30 Draft Picks

30 of the 51 2008 draft picks of the St. Louis Cardinals have quickly signed with the organization along with one undrafted free agent.

On Tuesday, the St. Louis Cardinals announced that 30 of the 51 players that the club drafted in the 2008 First-Year Player Draft have agreed to terms.

Included is the signing of the Cardinals second overall pick and first-round supplemental selection (39th overall), pitcher Lance Lynn out of the University of Mississippi.

St. Louis also came to terms with their 2nd-round pick (59th overall) Shane Peterson from Long Beach State. The Cardinals also agreed to terms with undrafted free agent Jarred Bogany (OF- Lubbock Christian University).
