“easton714” offered a look into first-round draft Pete Kozma’s first-year year stats halfway down page three of the thread ”2008 Cardinals Prospect #16 - Pete Kozma”.
A new discussion has begun about the Cardinals’ ”All time traded away team”. It has now evolved to a potential comparison between the best players that have come as well as those who have left. “DizzyDean17”, “bicyclemike” and “SoonerinNC” are among the contributors.
One of last week’s winning threads continued into this period. “fewgoodcards” added a forecast of the minor league rotations for 2008 near the bottom of page one of the ”Latin prospect review and rankings” discussion.
Last week’s winner, “CariocaCardinal”, is preparing an in-depth look at how to analyze the value of a player the Cardinals passed up in the 2007 draft, Rick Porcello, in the thread ”How much is Porcello worth? - a quantitative analysis”. “Oquendo11” also added a noteworthy post into the discussion, which has not yet reached its conclusion.
This past week’s winner comes from the second post on the thread called “Article on the value of player development”. There, “SydneyDave” considers the revenue impact of having poor teams on the field, using Milwaukee as the example.
