Jeff Luhnow, the Cardinals' Vice President of Player Procurement, talks about three top Caribbean prospects who have come to the US, Jose Martinez, Donovan Solano and Juan Lucena, and how the next group of Latin American players may integrate into the US-based minor league system.

Cardinals Vice President of Player Procurement Jeff Luhnow sat down last week for an extensive discussion covering the Cardinals international program and the 2006 standout players from club facilities in the Dominican Republic and Venezuela.

In this third and final installment, Jeff recaps the progress of three top Caribbean middle infield prospects who have come to the US, Venezuelan second baseman Jose Martinez from Quad Cities, Colombian shortstop Donovan Solano with State College and shortstop Venezuelan Juan Lucena from Palm Beach.
