There were some interesting contenders for this week’s “Post of the Week” from our fine message board.
A thread called “Wainwright” led to a long discussion that has elicited almost 100 responses and over 3100 views – one of the most popular in a long time. One post that stood out was written by past winner C2kSix, visible on page four. He discusses hopes for Anthony Reyes and Adam Wainwright and wonders out loud about the plans to sign the current starting pitchers whose contracts run out at the end of the season here: ”Wainwright”.
Two of the other finalists this week are very familiar, too. They expanded and extended a very interesting discussion about baseball before and after free agency – areas like the Luxury Tax, loyalty, player movement and more.
Last week’s winner, GeneralZodBOTB, responded to a post by this week’s winner and another repeater, 1964Cards in the thread, ”Free Agency”. While I personally didn’t agree with all the points made, that is what the board is about – intelligent discussion and friendly disagreement. As a result, I am pleased to announce 1964Cards as our weekly winner for March 12 through March 18.
Thank you for your contributions to our community, 1964Cards, and please keep making these fine observations. And, congratulations to last week’s honorable mention posters.
In recognition, 1964Cards wins a free four-week subscription to www.thestlcardinals.com and all the other great sites in the Scout.com network.
Next week, it can be you! So, keep posting!
