Like
a good leadoff hitter, FSN Midwest is setting the table for Cardinals
fans as opening day approaches by re-airing seven of the best and most
memorable games from last season in CARDINALS COUNTDOWN TO ‘06.
The series begins Wednesday, March 15 and spans three weeks
leading up to Opening Day. All games will air in prime time, beginning at
7:00
PM.
“With
spring training in full swing and new Busch Stadium nearing completion,
Cardinals fans are hungry for baseball season. We’re trying to feed that
appetite by re-living some great baseball from last year,” said FSN Midwest
General Manager and Vice President Jack Donovan.
Major
League Baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals teamed with FSN Midwest to make
these telecasts possible. CARDINALS COUNTDOWN TO ’06 is a prelude to FSN
Midwest’s live coverage of 110 regular season games (and two spring training
games), including the home opener from new Busch Stadium. FSN Midwest is
home to the most extensive Cardinals coverage on television, including the
Cardinals On-Deck pre-game show and nightly Midwest Sports
Report.
