Despite being just 20 years of age, Kenny Peoples-Walls
is a new-old player in the St. Louis Cardinals minor league system.
New in that he is in his first season as an outfielder. Old in that 2014 is his third year as a Cardinal. New in that the Los Angeles native is getting his first taste of full season ball with the Peoria Chiefs.
The right-handed batter had a standout 2013 campaign with Johnson City. Named as The Cardinal Nation's 32nd-ranked prospect coming into the season, Peoples-Walls not only batted .300, he hit 11 doubles and four triples to go with his seven home runs.
In the following exclusive interview, Peoples-Walls talks about his hitting, his new defensive assignment and his new club.
