Cave put on more than 15 pounds this offseason

Outfielder Jake Cave had a fantastic first full season last year after missing essentially his first two seasons with injuries. He reported to camp this year in great shape and his timing appears to be in mid-season form already, so much so that he says he is ready for the start of the season.

"I feel like it's going really good," Cave said of Spring Training camp. "I've been working on some stuff in the offseason and working on some stuff around here, and I feel like I'm putting it into play so I feel really good."
