MOOSIC, PA – Every baseball player dreams of getting that special call, and David Adams got it earlier this season. After spending the first six weeks of the season in Triple-A, Adams was promoted to New York on May 15, his 26th birthday, and spent nearly two months there. Now back with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Adams knows what he has to do to get himself back in the big leagues.

"It was fun, a real blast. It's a dream come true," he said about playing in the majors. "I think for me it was more of just, ‘okay, I got a taste, I know what it takes so just get back to what I do best, square things out and hopefully get another opportunity."
