BINGHAMTON, NY - Binghamton Mets centerfielder Alonzo Harris is looking to build upon his breakout season last year in Single-A Port St. Lucie. After finishing the 2012 season with a .287 batting average and an impressive 40 stolen bases, Harris hopes that his this type of play will open some eyes within the Mets organization.

With eleven stolen bases already this season in Binghamton, Harris seems to be continuing his past success on the base paths. According to manager Pedro Lopez, what will propel Harris into the next level will not only be his ability to steal bases, but also becoming more disciplined at the plate.
