During the 2012 Major League Baseball season, FOX Sports Tennessee and SportSouth will televise a combined 132 St. Louis Cardinals games, including five Spring Training contests.
Regular-season coverage begins with the second game of the year as the Cardinals visit the Milwaukee Brewers of Friday, April 6. It will be the first of 85 games scheduled to be televised on FOX Sports Tennessee. SportSouth will televise 42 Cardinals games with regular-season coverage beginning Wednesday, April 11 at the Cincinnati Reds. Dan McLaughlin, Al Hrabosky and Rick Horton continue in the broadcast booth as the TV voices of St. Louis Cardinals baseball in 2012. The three will rotate with McLaughlin on play-by-play, Hrabosky as analyst and Horton calling games in both roles. Pat Parris, Jim Hayes and Cal Eldred again make up the team hosting the Cardinals Live pre- and post-game shows.
Telecasts of Cardinals’ games on FOX Sports Tennessee are available in the Memphis, Evansville and Paducah/Harrisburg/Cape Girardeau DMAs, plus the counties of Union, Pontotoc, Yalobusha and Grenada in Mississippi. Telecasts of Cardinals games on SportSouth are available in the Memphis DMA, plus the counties of Union Pontotoc, Yalobusha and Grenada in Mississippi.
